I am looking at the front calipers on my specials and I see a considerable difference in the amount of lateral movement from hard to move, to being able to slide very freely. I understand that they are floating calipers and should move but I don't know if the one that moves very easily is worn out. So, the question is, how easy should it be to make them slide on the pin?

So the one I thought was worn is probably the good one."If A equals success, then the formula is: A = X + Y + Z. X is work. Y is play. Z is keep your mouth shut." - Albert Einstein

Sorry there Potter,
The "PREFIX" is different, and that does make it a different part! The XJ and LH are the same, but they are still no longer in production! PNM doesn't have them, BikeBandit doesn't have them! You may have to fabricate your own out of some "OTHER" rubber bushing type part!? Just one of the reasons why not to own an 81 MNS !
Good Luck!
