Racetech
Has anyone learned whether or not RACETECH gold valve emulators are available for the XS11? Over the weekend I got spanked real good by an XS650 so equipped. The XS650 has 35mm forks. What is the diameter of the XS11 fork?
I think TRAXXION DYNAMCS can fix the forks up right for $700. That's a bit steep for me.
While I'm asking, what series PROGRESSIVE shock works best on the XS11 without breaking the bank?Marty (in Mississippi)

I just got the 12 series with HD 120/170 springs for a total of $186.67. Also installed the progressive fork springs. Have to say I'm surprised at the difference in handling...Very nice! Plus ride 2 up a lot and feels very stable. Oh..already had a forkbrace..that really made the most difference.XS 1100 LG

Marty, I had my mechanic buddy look into those Racetech emulators and as I recall he found no fitment for the XS.
Not positive on that though.
My Progressive shocks are the basic 412 model. They have been fine but if I was to do it again I would get them with the heavier springs. I wasn't made aware of that option at the time.80 SG

Hi Guys,
Sorry to post the same pic of my bike again, but......
My bike has Forks from a Yamaha EXUP, a couple of other members of the UK site have XJR front ends (although the USA didn't get 'em!) But they have had to shorten the steering stem. A lot of bikes use the same headbearing sets as the XS11 (including some GSXRs!); If the bearings fit, the forks should not be too hard to fit.
There is an old write-up of my swap HERE;(click!)
Hope this helps.......
AlanBIf it ain't broke, modify it!
