Got the carb stick, did the carbs last night. They were WAY off when I started. Got it idling at around 1000 RPM and it sounds a lot better. Ran it in gear and can't seem to detect any problems. Of course once I have my fat arse on there it might be a whole different story, we'll see.

Reviewed work order from shop, see no mention of cam chain. Will adjust that tonight/tomorrow, replace plugs, synch carbs once more and take it for a test drive on the weekend.

I purchased an OEM exhaust off Ebay for $300. I'm trying to decide whether to tackle that now or wait till I've got it driveable and then do it.

Get it drivable first, and then make more changes. I would wait on the pipes until you've had it running properly. You will have to sync the carbs once again, but it should just be a minor tweak.
