could be 2 things clutch needs replaced or adjusted
or maybe the oil your using could cause a clutch slip but if it is only happing in top gear i would so it is the clutch going bad and not the oil
so what kind of oil do you use

well the only thing i can say do a high speed test run where you start in first and start banging the gears at redline and see if the problem happens in all the gears or just the top gear i mean that how i can tell my clutch is slipping and needs adjusted or replaced and i need to change my oil i like thew moble one synthatic is also messing with my clutch
and does it only do it in top gear or all gears above 6 grand

Ben,
It shows up in top gear, above 6K because yu are putting the most strain on the clutch. I would suspect the springs are worn out. I replaced mine January, and the old springs were about 3/8" shorter than the new ones. this was the short clutch springs!
I measured my fiber plates, and they were almost new, so I just put in the springs. the clutch has not slipped since, and I was slipping in both 4th and 5th.

Heavy duty clutch springs can be had from most motorcycle supply houses. I think even JCW might carry them. I know partsnmore does, as that's where mine came from. The down side to them is a $35.00 order for free shipping. If you order a few needed items, oil filter or two, etc., you should be there quickly.
