That's an interesting trip those guys are taking.

Maximan, Bohn Frazer, and a Guy named Jay and his son are doing cross country on the dual sports and trbig, Brent, and XJOK2PLAY ar taking the highways.

They met up in Las Vegas last night.

I haven't heard anything from most of them since. They might have lost everything and are on a bus ride home right now..........

We didn't meet in Vegas, we,re meeting tomorrow in Utah.

I took Brent and Bob around town a bit today, out of the regular tourist traps.

Sucky ride report so far, but not much time in the evenings. I will get the full report up at some point.

Hope you all are enjoying the ride, as that's what it's all about. Got some rainy weather that's blowing thru here past couple days. Chasing it should make for some cool riding......hey, at least the prevailing winds will help blow you back home and save a few bucks on fuel. Would normally be available for any assistance, etc. but will be caging it to Tuscon Wed. morning for sons college graduation. Be safe out there guys!

Made it to Utah yesterday. Very impressive. Some awesome scenery going from Vegas to Zion National Park between Arizona and there. I was riding and taking pics like crazy the whole way. Got here to Utah and discovered my memory card was full and the last actual pic taken was back in Vegas. *Sigh.. lol.

Oh well, that means I'll have to take more around here.

We left Utah yesterday and made it to Gallop, New Mexico, via the long way through the Grand Staircase and Escalante. Without a doubt, this was the most awe-inspiring and amazing scenery of any place I've ever ridden. Zion National Park is amazing. Bryce Canyon makes you speechless. BUT... the ride from Teasdale, UT, to Hanksville, then south to Blanding is visual overload. It was a constant barage of "OMG, that's INCREDIBLE! And so is that! Oh, man, so is that!" It's actually dangerous to ride because there's so much to look at, that it's hard to keep your eyes on the road. When I got to the hotel last night, I saw that I'd taken 420 pics yesterday. The photos don't do these things justice, but here's just a few for now...

Close to 600 miles for the day, but still 750 to go. Yesterday was all back roads and today will be interstate. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. We don't need any more of this...

              This was hail, not snow.

Off to the shower and get the bike loaded back up. We've got some miles to lay behind us.

Made it home safely. XJ still purring like a kitten. 750+ miles today in 11 hrs. No record, but no tickets along the way either. Not even too sore.

Brent peeled off east of Oklahoma City and he was headed a bit further east tonight. Bob Embrey is riding in to Tulsa tonight. We never did pay attention to our starting mileage, but finishing is somewhere between 3-4k miles for the trip. Time to change the oil again.

Be careful what you ask for. Tod will post a layout that'll put National Geographic to shame.

And yes, I'm fairly certain he has pics of naked natives.

Thanks for the photos. I'll have to get over to Bryce again, been several years since I was there and also to Zion. There is some spectacular scenery in Utah, you just have to ride a lot to get to it! The Grand Staircase, which includes a series of parks including Bryce and the Grand Canyon, is a neat trip in and of itself. Best if you like getting up early, though, as the morning and evening light provides the best and most dramatic viewing.

Looks like it was a great ride.

Still trying to edit the photos. We skipped the south rim of the Grand Canyon to visit the north like you'd said and do it on the ride home or out on a day ride from Zion since it was only 150 miles from there. Then in Zion, we found out the north rim is closed until May 15th... so we had to skip the Grand Canyon.

I am working on the pics though.
