Why not just buy the Truck-Lite 7" round light?

This Trucklite headlight is $275. It ain't exactly cheap, either. It is DOT approved and proven to function well on a motorcycle. It should not blind drivers in oncoming vehicles which is also an important consideration.

I saw this thread and it interested me. I'm just doing some digging. I'm not sure what pitfalls you might get for $50.

It's what the Jeep Wrangler drivers use on their Jeeps. Another brand commonly used is JW Speaker. The options are endless for the 7" round. Rectangle like mine is limited!

That's a good price if it's the same light. The adaptive light posted earlier is a JW Speaker pdoduct. Revival Cycles has video reviews of some of them.
