    I wish I would have read this thread completely. I just recieved my iso grips black on black and the throttle side fit tight.

    Didn't see the part about removing the raised ridges. Also the glue was stale. I had the throttle grip moving right along and half way it just stopped.

    So much for a relaxing Sunday wrenching on the bike.

    Make matters worse It would not come off period. Did some firm tugging trying not to screw up my new grips and the throttle tube broke. ( looked weathered and beat anyways )

    I had to walk away and count to ten then back to one.

      Just wanted to toss my opinion in here with yours. Ive had them for a month and a half and will never own another bike without them. I also got the throttle boss and Trident bar end mirror with mine. Love them all.
