Need an awe inspiring horn for my rod . . .

I ride in Atlanta traffic, so I need a significant attention getter. Anyone have suggestions?

There are a couple threads on horns I have read. A mfg named Fiamm. Been thinking about those myself. With a big hulking 11 and the loudness of my drilled exhaust, those horns sound SOOO whimpy.

Get a couple of Kockums Tyfon 575s or Doran-Cunningham 6-Bs.

        Compare the two.

          Fiamms

I can vouch for the Faimms, I installed a pair on my bike this spring and they do get people's attention. Make sure they are at least 125dbl.

            3Phase -- ship horns! ROFLMAO!

I'd definately need a custom mount. If they were rear facing, I bet they'd aid in propulsion!

Put one fore and one aft for acceleration and braking. You'd definitely get attention in traffic with none of that, "I didn't know he was there, officer!"

There'd be head-shaped bumps in cage roofs for blocks in every direction.

I have my Fiamms pointing straight down, so when I get on the horns, I do a wheelie!
They are quite loud, and they do get people's attention. Instead of the wimpy 'Excuse me' stock horns, I have the ones that say 'Get the F**k outta my way'!

Acceleration, braking and wheelies at the touch of a button!

                    Another available unit:

                    Compact Nautilus Air Horn
                    $42.00

Make those drivers around you take notice before it's too late with this attention-grabbing air horn from Stebel!

An ear-splitting 139db four inches from the source, and a healthy 115db 2 meters away, these babies could very well be the last thing to keep that car or truck from changing lanes at the least opportune time for you!
One place that has them, and where this quote is from:

Unit was designed for an ST1100 but could probably be adapted.

Thanks Randy, that was my first thought when I saw that. Knowing how little extra juice these machines produce. I am always reminded of that Apollo 13 movie and the guy sitting in the training pod with a meter and taking notes when I think about putting electrical stuff on Thunderstruck.

Oh, that was just a joke, The momentary nature of a horn probably wouldn't have any affect on the systems. But if it did, hey, you'd be slowed by the forward blast AND the voltage drop Sort of like a pre-braking system

                              Horny

What's the loudest horn that can go in the stock location?
18 amps for 1-2 seconds is negligible.
