That Magna will FLY if it is in good condition.... I wanted one of those before I got my V-Max....

Yeah its in pretty good shape, I am doing the oiling mod for the top end right now.

Well, I'll probably get flamed for this. I still like the Sportster, and the ole BSA, or Triumph chopped. Throw in a couple of Nortons. With a few mods all the above can smoke any jap bike off the line.
Or maybe I'm still in the old days...lol
And of course they are way cool, just like our old Yamaha's...

Yep, your still in the old days, but most of us are around here.
I dont know about the sportster, but im with ya on the BSA and Triumph. My dad was a BSA guy until the late 70's when he went to the bigger jap bikes.

I gotta say that rocket 3 is built for ole guys like me. I look at the duke and think I would look like a total idiot on that thing. Me hunched over that like a fat ole dog doin a football kinda thing. Think I will stick to my XS it still seems kinda modern to me lmao. An if I wanna go fast I'll get a Vmax and mod it.

I loved riding trials. I was never very good but loved it anyways. I got lucky and got to watch a world trials event some years ago. Ballet on a motorcycle. All that said I would toss that damn bike in the river those squealing brakes ruin the video.

That video was amazing. I too heard the squeak. Brakes sounded like drum brakes! Maybe fork springs compressing?

For an older guy like me, I like this Triumph way better for a hoodlum bike.
