Congrats on the new ride Bill! The V-Strom is one of the top contenders for when I get a new bike. I've also been eyeing the Ducati Multistrada, but these are supposed to perform at least as well for 2/3 the cost. I look forward to seeing it!

It's not as pretty tonight as it was this morning. I dropped it today and skinned it up and took some skin off my left leg while I was at it. I guess it, and I, will be OK. Thank goodness for my jacket with armor, gloves and my helmet. To bad I didn't have my riding pants on. If I had been wearing them, I wouldn't have been hurt at all.

Hate to hear that Bill! Was it a traffic issue?

          All right

          Bill,
I'm glad to hear that the damage to both you and the bike was minor.

I hit a piece of concrete and it threw me down very quickly. I'd like to see a movie of it because I can't recall exactly how it happened. Luckily I landed in the median, but it was concrete and not grass. It didn't hurt the tire or wheel, but it broke the left front turn signal, the left foot peg and the shifter lever. Oh, and it scratched up the fender and the fairing plastic.

One good thing is that I found a dealer that has great prices on Suzuki parts in OH. It's A&B Extreme Suzuki and they beat my local dealer by 50 percent. I think they sell Yamahas too.

I like their on line parts but their prices a bit more than A&B. If anyone wants to try them call 1(866) 848-0355 and ask for Kathy. I ordered the parts Tuesday at 4PM and they are being shipped from A&B today.
