Got mine

I've got a 1970 model, had it since about 1980, my dad bought it for $150, fixed some broke stuff in the kickstarted and I've had it since. Original red paint with a few scratched & such, broken passenger foot peg, carb needs cleaned, throttle cable sticks, got the original tires on it( they don't hold air very well any more, good for a day or so and then they're flat again) got a 1/4" tear in the seat, I'll try and get a pic posted, I've been threatening to pull it out and make it go again for some time, might. E a good time to do it. The only real issue it has is that I haven't seen the title since before my dad passed (1995). But it's not like it's street legal, so it's a minor issue after all. Actually, I believe in most (maybe all?) states the CT70 IS LEGAL FOR USE ON THE STREET! I have a Georgia tag on mine! I lived most of my childhood and young adult life in Pennsylvania where they are also legal for use on the street. In Georgia, all I had to do was put a rearview mirror on it (bicycle mirror) and it's ready to roll: Licensed and Insured!!

I don't have a "Title" for mine either but in Georgia they WILL NOT issue a title on ANYTHING over 20 years old. If you purchase a bike/car with a title and turn it in when you register the bike you won't get one back.

That happen to me. I registered my 83 GPZ a few years ago and I did not get a title back. I miss not having a title. My 80 XS11 does not have a title either.

I used to know a kid named Guggenheim who had a brand new one just like the one in the OP when I was a lad. I thought that was the coolest thing going. But I didn't have a name hooked in with a famous museum, so I had to make do with one of these... used.
