    I have no idea what the MSRP on my XS650SK was. I remember the dealer in Daytona Beach had one and they had a king/queen seat on it. I think they wanted more than $2500 for the bike (I really don't remember) and they wouldn't put the stock seat back on it or haggle on the price. I went to Beach Yamaha in New Smyrna Beach where the had an XS650SJ and an XS650SK, each bike was priced $1795 and I remember getting the bike home for under $2K. I still have the bike and had it out for a spin a few days ago.

      I was taken aback when I saw the $ they were asking for the Heritage 650 !!! But I already had my SF11 did not care !

        FWIW, I paid Cdn$2,400 for my '84 Heritage Special when I bought it NOS from a Winnipeg Yamaha dealer in '86.
        Looks like the ~$6K+ selling price means it sold for ~ new price if you consider the inflation factor.
