    Anyone know about these

I always liked the way these bikes looked and you can still sit up on them. I probably will go look at this and if its in good shape, pick it up.

Yep, I see them for sale a lot (750's anyways). They usually are in rough shape and are missing the body panels. I would love to own one of the 1000's but they just dont come up very often. I'd love to own an 86-87 FJ also but would choose the interceptor as they look better IMO, second best looking 80's bike to the FZR1000.

"What they do have is an implacable, unrelenting presence and movement that bespeaks massive power lurking behind paint and chrome. They don't wail like a screeching ninja, the don't rumble like a harley. They just growl like a spactic, stressed out badger waiting to rip your face off and eat your soul." Trainzz~RIP~

That 1000 is a great looking bike. They had a fj1200 for sale here for $2500 and the next day it went up to $3000. The fj is my dream bike. I love the old plastic fairing bikes of the 80's. They look really sporty but you still ride sitting up with you feet beneath you. I am taking $1000 with me and show it to him (if it looks and runs good) and see if he takes it.

          Hi Max,
not those ones. Both my sons went against my advice and bought one.
They were built up from race bikes in a mad rush to sell as street bikes
and yes, they went super fast, cornered on rails and stopped on a dime.
But they didn't age well and they are a stone bitch to work on.
