They are quite the ride. I guess they were an early "sport tourer" unique in the six cylinder layout. My brother-in-law had one when I had my 84 900R Kawasaki Ninja. The CBX had plenty of power but all the heft kept it from being quick. In a 60-100 contest the Kawasai left it completely in the dust but that's not what the CBX was intended to compete with. For long haul work they were masters. There's ben very few transverse 6 cylinder bikes and now you've got arguabley the best.

In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.
Hey Nate
Perhaps you can hook me up with him if I need anything. According to the seller, this bike is in pretty pristine condition so I hope I don't need anything right away. The bike has a little over 15k and was stored in a climate controlled enviroment so that helps alot. I too store all my bikes in a climate controlled enviroment. I have not received it yet so there will be more on my report.

I have done some reasearch on these old bikes and I basically bought it because it is a great collectable. Performance was not important in my selection and my plan is to ride it just enough to keep it clean and fresh. I basically do the same with all of my old bikes. If I want to go on a trip I usually ride my Roadstar Warrior. Thanks fo replying!

According to the owner, it has been in a climate controlled storage and is in pristine condition with about 15k on the clock. Looking forward to cleaning her up real good and parking next to Yammies!
