  • Got 2 more. I'm going to need a lot of tires soon eh

I just acquired 2 more bikes. A 1981 Honda CB900 and a 1983 Suzuki GS1100. I got the pair for 500.00. God knows where I'm going to park them

        Hi Rob,
both nice in their own way. You will lilkely need lots of Carb cleaner and elbow grease before the tires

Good find..........does that CB900 have the high and low two speed option?
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

I'm not sure. It's a 10 speed bike is what the seller told me. It's a HEAVY pig too with a separate gear box that takes its own fluid.

                Here They Be

So here's a few photos of these 2 beasts. As can be seen they were a heavy load for my Dakota but bringing them both back in one trip saved me a far amount of time and gas. These 2 are not in as good a shape as the others I have bough but both can be saved with some medium sizes doses of TLC. Both appear to have good condition factory exhaust systems on them but they look a little on the rough side. The GS1100 is missing the side covers and the lad (a 73 year old fellow) could not find the air box for the CB900.

If your getting them cheap enough and can fix them up like most of the lads on this site can, their sort of like an investment ... buy for 100 to 300, spend not more then 300 on fix up and then sell for a dollar a cc in the spring. Buy in fall / winter, sell in spring /summer. That's my theory LOL

Wasn't that Suzuki the bike that unseated the XS1100 as fastest? Nice finds! My problem is once this stuff comes into my garage, it never leaves! I never sell anything!
