    hey fred,
    havent done it yet, probably in the next couple of days,
    apparently its a large washer inserted into the carb boots,
    so once theyve been removed the bike should be sweet,
    atm while its restricted, i have no idea how he rides it, its
    got no balls and vibrates.
    ill let you know how it goes after ive removed them.

    Here's a short excerpt from some sort of a Google Group for the Kawasaki ER5

    "The restriction kit uses discs with small holes in them, like large washers. Placed between the carbs & the engine, these limit the amount of mixture that can be drawn in. Getting these out will involve moving the carburettors so that you can reach into the inlet stubs. I'd check the list of things Simon suggested first! Also check the carb breather hose which passes under the rear of the fuel tank. Make sure it isn't pinched or too near the airbox inlet."
