  • FJ 1200 carb guru's

    I have a set of 1200 carbs,, have checked measurements and they will fit in the XS,,

    beside the bowl over flow pipe is the main fuel feed line I assume, cast alloy with 2 o/rings,which is a tight fit,

    above that a bit is another "T", made of plastic,1 o/ring and is a very loose fit,

    #1 is the plastic T an original piece,, and is supposed to be that loose or is it the wrong part

    #2 if I'm right, and the cast T is the main fuel feed what part does the plastic T play

    #3 can we fit the carbs to the XS and cap the plastic T{not being sure what it does}

    the XS carbs are leaking air like there's no tomorrow,around the shaft seals and with a spare carb set will be cheaper than any alternative

    shall await any reply of info,

    Look on this parts list and scroll down to the carbs. There's two types of FJ carb, one for California and one for the rest of the World. I just picked the 1989 model because that's the one i've got.
