      Carbs off????

      This bike the airbox comes off first before the carbs and on after the carbs. Hose is between cyl 2 & 3 on the bottom front.

        How in hell do you get the airbox out of that thing with out splitting the frame? Wildkat's FJ 1100 is a real PITA to get the carbs in and out of, and the frame has to be split to remove the airbox. Is the 1200 different?

          Could be

          Airbox just rotates up and out. Easy, but disconnects hose to crankcase vent and no room at all to get in there to get it back on.

            On mine the hose is long enough to connect to the airbox and crankcase breather before putting the aibox back in position. Just make sure it's clamped on or it will come loose in the process.
