    These fit fit early 80's magna and are in excellent shape no pitting on chrome , but they wont fit my 78xs1100e got them off the bay for $75 but I will accept any reasonable offers+ s/h

    Just curious. Why won't they fit the XS? If it's bushing size, that can be altered. If they hit on the frame, that's another story.

      fitment

      the tops have an extended shaft so they are too long tip fit the top bolts, you could cut off the excess but the extra chamber either hits the right side swing arm and or hits the brake mount, and I am not that ambitous or have the time do do it

        On most shocks you can twist the upper mount, have you tried that?

        Then you could cut off the excess top mount and have the chambers mounted toward the rear of the bike.

        Oh, I just looked at my 11 and I guess you've already tried this.
