    750 info

I am interested to know how you diagnosed the prob with the 82 honda. I have a buddy who has a fairly low mileage 750 sport with carb? probs?? I am wonderin what the syptoms were in this case.
The bike I am talkin bout just seems to be runnin rich all the time...(but wait, it was parked...mice??)
    It IS a honda...hehehehe.
Would like to be able to give him some kinda direction to go as to fix it.
Went to help him and got it fired up tho battery was junk....
Was hopin the misfire stuff was mostly low voltage but the grey comin outa the pipes saiad too much fuel.
    Any info would be helpful

It was pretty simple... lol. When I took the carbs out to clean them, I put some carb cleaner in the little cup and operated the little rod for the accelerator pump. It pumped just a couple times then went Pttthhht and quit. I re-inspected it, and the rubber around where it joins the rod was dry rotted and cracked. This bike has been sitting, so I was just doing the normal routine stuff to get it back.
