Yamaha has FJR 1300 info on their web page, including MSRP. Cockpit shots shows kph speedo, not mph. It is a shaft drive, BTW. 145 HP. Comes standard with hard saddlebags and adjustable windshield.

Anyone seen one in person yet, better yet ridden one? When the XJ dies, this may be an option.....

Two different dealers around here want $500 just to order it. Maybe after the novelty wears someone will stock one.

It DOES have a center stand, maybe I do want one.

FJR... nice. But why o why didn't they put a V4 in there?

This is the XJR thread not the FJR thread, the FJR thread is here:

Now, I'll take one of each!

Hey, How come I get invalid session when I try to vote on a poll? I know I don't log on that often but I'm still a member. At least I think I'm a member. Do I have to do something to be able to poll vote?

                Regards, Russ

Not sure Russ....You must be signed in, a poll vote should not cause any problems...I will look into it, please shoot me a PM to remind me.

                    Just what we need........

Why do we need a nother crotch rocket here in the good old USA. I for one never considered my XS1100 as a Crotch rocket. Rather as a inbetween type of bike. In between the big twins and the crotch rockets of today. Am I wrong? Am I way off base?
When I ride to a big twin ralley I feel that I belong there as much as any of the rest. I guess I am getting old in my thinking.
