    I've always been partial to Yellow and black if you couldn't tell, Bill! The one that I am picking up is all black with racing stickers on it.

    I had said 1100 motor to you, but I really meant a 1000 motor, maybe from a little later model. Or I'm just rebuilding the 750, hopefully the same carbs you were talking about are actually on the bike.

      The GSX-R "7/11" conversion was a popular mod with the earlier oil cooled models. After '92 they went to water cooling. I don't if it's practical to try putting a water cooled engine like the "1000" in an oil cooled frame. Nice thought, though!
