i use hjc cl-12. in fact, i just picked up a new one (people give you strange looks when ur driving a cage wearing a lid).

i took the MSF course over the summer and according to the instructor, the only large difference between DOT and SNELL endorsements is that the snell foundation will go out and buy helmets directly from a local dealer--the manufactures can send helmets to get tested for the DOT certification. I guess the manufacter could send "special" helmets to make sure they pass...

Got my helmet today. An AFX. Full face. Black. XXXX-Large.

I did not know you could get them that size. Had to go to another town, but I can now take my test to get my license.

Also got my oil filter bolt. Now all I have got to do is clean and sync the carbs.

I would love to take the MSF training course but I cannot find one locally.
