Gone but never Forgotten:
1980 XS11SG - "Scorpion"
"Life is not a journey to the grave, with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body; but rather to skid on broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming:
I started with a 650 honda
1100 Honda Had some health problems sold both of them.
Spring of 05 saw an ad for 80 Yamaha for $1200 had only
360000 mi. Also had all the Vetter trim. Fairing, hardbags. trunk.
That got me back into the ridin' thing. Couldn't leave them alone.
Went out and got an 06 VStar 1100. Flame painted the whole bit.
Heres what missed adding to my list since I hit the wrong key and posted the orginal before I was finished.

It has been interesting to read what your guys have had. Brings back memories of setting points, filling the Autolube tank and popping another Zener diode in while on the side of the road

Seeing as the XS11 is (to date) my first and only bike, what was the smalled XS Yamaha made. I'm looking for one for SWMBO, and I'm not sure a XS650 would be small enough for her. She's only 5'3" and might weigh 115 lbs soaking wet. I'd really like to get her on a classic XS but I'm not really sure she'll be able to.
Any of you guys know of a smaller XS than the XS650 ... and how hard one might be to find???
