The article is a totally true review of how ahead of the times these great bikes were, and still a joy to ride since most of us arent dragging knees in the corners. One of the very few bikes made that can tour, fast as heck, smooth, comfortable, growls when needed, travel two up cross country or down the boulevard and look like the classic it is. Maybe not fuel injected, its only drawback, but those of us who have had one know the feeling. As the late xs owner Planedick once said,,,,if it feels good between your legs ride the heck out of it and enjoy,,,,,,,,Ride on, Mike in San Diego and Pa

"With a rider aboard, that number could easily reach 800. Add a passenger and the half-ton was within reach."

Don't know about the rest of you guys but if my regular full time passenger gets the rig up to a half ton she's gonna need a bike of her own!
