Must be gone I tried pinging it and it came back as unreachable. Could be the host server is down though.

Is it a matter of hosting? Who's footing the bill to keep a defunct website up?

It's been disappointing the last several days attempting to sort out the (now fixed) issue I was dealing with on my bike. A lot of Google searches for forum questions turn up answers posted on that site. Luckily most everything there has been condensed into the sticky notes here and we can still get questions answered but still, there's a good bit of knowledge lost.

I miss some of the old members on there-xschop,davinci and others. I don't see them posting anymore. I also had some friends on my list that the site had.

As BikerPhil said, I think the cat chewed through the wire for the last time.

As I recall JP Honeywell had paid for the xs11.com Domain through 2022 and the Domain now has lapsed in 2023. So presto, its 2023, Domain is gone. No xs11.com
Sure was a good run for many many years.

As y'all likely recall, over time xs11.com ended up running on antique software and old operating system that was on JP's server.
Sure glad all the member support we had to get xs11.club up, running and data migrated; or we'd be toast.

JP had graciously hosted xs11.com for many years. Did system upgrades and kept 11.com operational. We thank him for that.
On the flip side, it is terrific that we have xs11.club with a lot of the data migrated over.

Yes, we certainly miss members and friends that have moved on or dropped out of xs11 land.
So much anymore is via FB sites, FB friends areas or direct contact via phone and easy to use messaging on our cell phones.

I'm not sure everyone realizes the posts from the old site will come up if you use the search function on the new site.

                      No, you're right.

But fortunately we have a jumper wire to access the same information information from a new direction.

Yeah, but the google voice search was sooo much easier.

I believe only some of the information was tranfered to dot club, not all of it.

Maybe someone who actually tranfered some of the posts could chime in?

My mind kinda naturally works using Bayesian logic so Google gets me what I need fast. Consequently I've never been able to get much good from message board searches, it's not only this one rather pretty much all of them.

Davinci used to live in PA-I had a bad TCI and he tried to re -solder some things inside but didn't work. I lived in Portland PA at the time.
