    Carb t

    Hi all

    Has anyone got a sketch of part number 2H7-14988-00 . A brass T with four O rings that fits between the carbs. The original ones leak and Yamaha do not sell them.

    napioer Hi, I don't have a sketch but you can repair the original fairly easily. Here is a link to video demo.

    The tees can be purchased from e-bay suppliers and MikesXS.net if you need. Seems shipping may be more of an issue to Elizabeth....

        Probably the post that Ray was pointing to. Info if you want to mess with O' rings and fix it that way -or- get the new brass T's.
        Brass T's are a great way to fix it if you are so inclined but with Duty / VAT & TAXES plus Shipping a few O' rings works great too.

          Starting on post #8 of this thread is how I found a sufficient way to modify existing fuel tees almost five years ago and still no leaks.

              I used this method recently and the end of plastic piece on the tee came off. I had to utilize some Seal All to glue that piece back on and so far so good. Of course if I ever have to disassemble those carbs again I would suppose the glue might pull loose. No big deal... would just glue again.
