Oh, my balance is fine if you want to be the one-legged man in an ASCII-kicking contest! <laughing>
Going up and down stairs is fun, for certain values of fun, I need to start me own thread and quit hijacking this one!

                      • I think I am going to add a windscreen/windshield to the army bike pictured above. That's something I have never done to any of my bikes. Does anyone have any recommendations and sourcing? Thanks, Bob

As to a direct recommendation, no, although I'd be looking for something really basic with a 50's-60's look to it with the bottom part either covered or painted to give it a "WWII military 45" vibe.

                          Something along these lines:

                          • Slipstreamer shields are nice. Special Ed had one on his special that worked well and looked good. I put a much smaller one on a special I had. It took the pressure off my chest, but I had helmet buffeting and no hand protection.

XS1100 SF Bob Jones worked on it!

I’ve had Slipstreamer and National Cycle. I prefer the National Cycle products.

Edit: Slipstreamer has a couple that mate to the square headlight.
