Watch those Screamin Eagle conversions, done right with the right combination some of them CAN run with crotch rockets. The trick is to take him on in the twisties and sweepers.
On my V-65 I have yet to have been bested by any Harley, of any mod LOL- now, the guy I got the XS off also had a V65 Magna that I bought and sold some time ago- that is how I hooked up with the XS. The XS is full dress fairings and bags- and he said it had pretty good seat of the pants pull in comparison with the V65- though when he side by side raced it with the V65 it wasn't a close race, but it wasn't slow either!

The V65 is the only bike I can really compare to other bikes in my OWN experiance, because I have owned it so long, so sorry if I used that as a comparison. But the guy I got my XS off of does have a pretty good idea of the power of both, and was pretty comfortable with it's power output, and really impressed at how much faster it was than our various friends full dressed bikes at the time.

But even a V-rod can barely compete with the 20 year old super bikes- hardly ablesons are slow, can't handle and for guys who drive thier cars with assless chaps to bike get togethers and don't ride there "because of the weather" LOL

      LMFAO

If I were the mean-spirited non PC type, I would have to admit to wondering about the "real" relevance of wearing chaps with the backside removed...certainly not for easy access at these "gatherings?"
