Yeah, I did Willy. The leaves were just beautiful. I had planned on driving to the Saddleback Mt area to do my 'leaf peepin' but the weather didn't look so good for the day that I had planned, so I took my Mom, and family out on a local ride, and I saw all I needed. Just around the Waterville area was gorgeous. There is an old Victorian style house in my home town of Fairfield, and it is now the local History House. I have always wanted to check it out since I was a kid, and I did in April. Well, it is only open for a few hours on Tuesday so I asked my Mom if she would to go and see it with me. She jumped at the chance. It turns out that when she was younger, in the early 40's, the lady that owned the house, Mrs. Smith was the music teacher at the high school, and my Mom took piano lessons from her. Well, the house hadn't been altered since then, and the old piano that my Mom learned to play on was still in the very same spot it was over 50 years ago. My Mom has trouble getting around now, and couldn't tour the second floor, but she didn't need to. She said she could still see it as clearly as if she were up there. The curator was a man she went to school with, and we just talked and looked at old pics for a couple of hours, so yeah, I guess you could say that I, and my family had a good time.

What a game last night! I would love to be up there for the
Victory Celebration when they win it.
