Yes, I agree. The pack is NOT back. That was the first time I ever heard them getting booed by their fans. And the first time many people left before the end of a game. Our local high school sent them an invitation to play against them, but I don't think they will accept. They would probably lose, our HS team is hot this year.

I'm not one for sports other then the one arm curls that are assosiated with watching a game. I sure am glad that I work for the local cable company. we get tickets to see the Sioux Falls Stampede do their hockey thing. Another good thing is having your old boss in town during these games and giving him a free ticket. He buys the beer by the $100.00 at a time thing. This is usually for 6 or so people. Needness to say who cares who wins, Bring on the beer.

This started out to be a baseball thread and turned into a football conversation.

I'm for any team that plays against the Yanks! But the Red Sox are one of my favorites. I had an uncle who played (pitcher) for their minor league team in Greenville, N.C. back in the early sixties.

I've been a R-Sox fan ever since.

Hey Russ, waved at ya yesterday, about 11:30. What a beautiful trip. The leaves were right in full peak in N.H and Central Maine.
After the last two games against the Yanks, I think the Sox are going ti do the usual post season crash n' burn. Let's hope not. They do have to go back to Fenway eventually...
