Nice to know there's somebody out there besides me that likes both the Midnight series AND the Spectre!
As far as the Valkyrie, even tho I've been a Honda fan all my life, they just don't do it for me. Just too bike and bulky. Remind me too much of the Goldwing, and I never cared for those either. Had an old GL1000 one time (with only a Jammer and trunk). I didn't keep it long. I like my bikes a bit more slim and nimble. The XJ is about as big as I would ever want. It's about as big and heavy as the old Wing, but the style is much better and the power; WOW! Blows the old Wing away.
My other dream bike besides the dream bike I already have
"XS1100"
Super modified 78 SR500.
Stroked out to 605cc
40mm muk. carb.
2" jemco header/w ehaust cone
440 or 480 cam
high compression piston, valves and springs
midnight black with gold flake paint
small cafe`fairing.
Did I leave anything out?

(1) XS1100LG "Midnight Dream" Restoration has begun.
(2) XS1100LG "Midnight Madness" Waiting to be next
(5) multi partsters for bobber "Ruby Red II" On the list.
SR500H "Silver Streak"
A Vincent Black shadow or Black Knight from 1956 and for a more modern bike a Leverda Jota 1200. Last but not least a Yamaha 1300 Venture for a touring bike.
I don't remember the exact letter designation (I have a pic on my locker at work):
A Honda RSV400, V4, water-cooled, 2 stroke, 400cc crotch-rocket with a 18,000 RPM redline.
Grey market example from L.A was on Ebay awhile back for $45,000.
I've always liked smaller bikes for their handeling prowess.
Otherwise I saw a supercharged V-Max at the local Yammy dealer.
