          Wanna horror story?

A friend of a friend had a spill bout two weeks ago.... went to ER, complained of back pains... among other stuff....
So, they said back was just bruised, it'll go away.....
It was OK for a week, still the back pain tho... then he wanted to pick up his 5 year old son and just fell to the ground, numb from the waist down.
He had a pinched nerve, in the ER they didn't notice it.
I think he got an operation or something, anyway, he can feel warm/cold now, but they say it's 50/50 for everything else.
          That sucks....
Anyway, in the last week bout 4 friends of mine crashed. No serious injuries thankfully, but AFAIK at least 2 totals....
A nice ZRX 1200 and a 1200 sportster down the drain....
Dunno bout insurance companies and stuff... I know the ZRX one was saving up helluvalong time for the bike. Now all that's probbably useful is the engine and not much more.

Anyway.... didn't mean to scare you TC, tell em to do a good job with ya or I'm comming over and kick some @$$!

          LP
If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

Thanks again to all the well wishes.

Bill, I did get your email, but as you can see, been busy with getting diagnosed, and scheduled for surgery and such. This year also marks our 20th anniversary, so we were kinda saving up for a trip in November/December to celebrate, along with possibly renewing our vows, etc., you know, all that romantic stuff the SWMBO's like!!! And the wife just changed jobs, wasn't sure if she was going to be able to get similar pay scale , she has to keep me in the lifestyle into which I have become accustomed to!!!! She has the degree, she makes more than I!

So...even though it looks like I would have probably recovered well enough by then to attend, just have other committments on the table. Will miss you guys, and the twisties, loved those twisties, and especially with my new rear tire!

                            Thanks again everybody,

Dave/Deo, that would be great, would you be on the XJ, or the cage!?

Got a call from the surgery scheduler from my neurosurgeon's office, turns out the EKG I had for my preop has been read, and they "THINK" it shows a possible SILENT M.I.(heart attack)!?!?
So....I get to go in an hour earlier than the 2 hours early I was originally scheduled to arrive so that they can repeat the EKG and re-evaluate it!? I hope they don't delay my surgery by having to have some sort of cardiac workup!?

If you don't hear from me tomorrow, then you'll know I've had my surgery, and I'll be spending hopefully only 1 night there, then I'll be home Friday PM. Hospitals are NO PLACE to get rest, just to get better/well enough to get you home TO REST!!!!!!

                            Signing Off! T.C.

                              TC,

I'll ride the XJ just cause I want to try it on the Bay Bridge Tunnel. I don't remember if there are grates on it, do you? Don't like them at all. Too slick.

later, hope the EKG works up to be nothing wrong.
