maybe...that style of bike is not really my cup of tea..I would much rather have a vintage xs11...maybe this is the time I get a real Venturer that I haven't yet had the luck to get...

          That possibility may exist.

Everything is possible in the field of all possibilities...I know you have one..but I have no plans to take that bike..and I wont even ask...Its your baby and i understand and respect that.....there are others out there..at the VYR there was a fella from VA who had a nice venturer ..I did get pics of it..but it does not look as nice as yours Brant and he was asking $3900..I'm on a fixed income..it is going to take me close to a year just to save $2000..so its gonna be awhile before I have something else to ride...That will give me plenty of time to find an appropriate scoot...

              '81 Venturer at VYR f/s

It looks almost as good as yours Brant but he had some kind of tank covering that was only on the top.. running down the center..it didnt look too bad but it wasnt a stock item..and theres some kind of wrapping on the mufflers...makes me wonder if he is covering up rust holes...And he painted the header pipes...but otherwise it looks quite nice...I could be happy with it...Asking $3900

                That's Jerry's bike

A real beauty and more than a fair price.
Ridden with him at our annual winter Florida Rally. Great machine and runs good.

Go for it. Hopefully you will get a few bucks from your insurance coverage if you had the Bandit covered for wrecks. Though I imagine your insurance company isn't too amused by another wreck.

We just hope your aches & pains are subsiding. That's the important thing.

Glad you're physically ok Ben. Yep, getting back on seems to work out well, said from experience.

                  Yamaha Tracer maybe?

Better yet, I know you know what two grand will get you in a Honda. Best bike ever, and one that you like more than an old XS! (although we all like them too)

Hi Dean..Thanks..I have seen ST1100's dirt cheap down here..less than $2000..but they're too heavy for me..I am likely to either get another Vintage Yamaha or i will find another Bandit 1250s..I really loved that bike..power..weight size..totally perfect for me..except for the crashing part...even my fantasy bike ..an '81 Venturer is really too big and heavy for me...

Thanks Jeff for that info..Not getting anything back at all..i did not have collision..only liability..such is the case when you are poor...Mild concussion and a very sore neck..otherwise i am fine..alot less trama than the wreck back in '17..So now i am looking to find PT work and hopefully speed up the process for my next machine...

I switched to progressive a few years ago...the girl was nice enough to tell me that they will not write a policy for less than $75 (at the time) so you’ll pay that regardless......and being that I was in my late 40’s with a pretty good driving record and drove a really old bike she could add some coverage until I got up to the minimum. I think it cost me a buc or two for a $1500 agreement value, and xtra medical.... And this year when she wrote my 850 on the same policy it was only an additional $20 to what I was already paying for the 11 even after my wreck. At State Farm I had to pay for each bike, like $100 each... for liability. Now I think I pay $97 for both with the xtra coverage, even after my wreck. They never issued me ticket for my crash because I hadn’t done anything wrong...but it sounds like you didn’t either.

Thanks Garrett..If I get another vintage ride I will get Hagerty Insurance...they will pay the full value of your MC..determined when you get the policy...but this obviously wasnt a vintage ride..we shall see...

I’m sure they would too, I just went for the $1500 cuz it was cheap and I knew I only had $400 in it.
