Thanks for bringing that to my attention Phil! Tried it and didn't work for me either. I'm sure there is someone here that could fix and get that to work, as I am definitely no puter guru, just a gear head to the max..

Maybe Dean R. or Ben who are also a st member on the site could make the link work. Maybe even Skids? How bout it guys?......a little help here?

For most part, don't usually follow links at all, but THIS one is definitely interesting as it has several questions asked of him along with his answers and input.........way good read!

Okay, tried it on the site without signing in........worked perfectly.
So, know it's the long way, but here goes:

              type stowners.com
              upper left, click FORUMS
scroll down to RIDING FORUMS and click on long distance riding
click on that first input by Vinny(JeffH knows him well)
click on that link and there you have it!

                  Let's see...works for me..
In a week and a half's time, Carl Reese is going to strap on a catheter, jump on a BMW K1600GT, start up a bunch of video gear and GPS trackers, pull on a helmet and try to ride more than 2,023 miles (3,545 km) in the space of 24 hours. And this ain't his first rodeo.

I did one about like that coming back from The Lost Rally in upper Michigan a couple years ago. 800 and some miles from there to Russ' place in Shawnee, Ks. in about 12 hours.

Got turned around on some back roads in Wisconsin and then had to stop and get woke up just north of Des Moines because I fell asleep for a few seconds on the bike. Was happy for the rumble strips then..
