Greg, I like the size as well.

The main thing I have to admit, as this gets a few more years consistently under it's belt, getting more guys from different places involved is nice that way if there is a down year it evens out.

Already have a few new faces and new old faces that are interested. It's going to be a nice time.

          George,
Sure glad to hear you're ok! Wow! That's just too close!

Always puts a chill up my spine when traffic does that. I hate that!
          Scary stuff.

Hope the bike goes back together ok for you. Just glad it's not YOU that needs to be repaired!

You're absolutely correct... it can happen to anybody...eventually.
(I'm REALLY knocking on wood right now, too!)

          Ben,
Hope we get to see you again this summer in Colorado!
Hope the change of climate brings you some relief. I understand...
('Ole Arthur & I are well acquainted, too. Really sucks!)

Not sure when, but maybe the gang will decide to go back out to Zion & Bryce Canyon, and you can come with us!
We (Cody, Bohn, and I) originally said we would make Zion an annual trip.
But, ya know how busy lives can sometimes get in the way of "best laid plans", right?

Let us know when you make the move.

            Hey George,

Sorry for the delayed reply, took a few days away from the site, and saw this just tonight!.
Like everyone, glad to hear you're okay. Hope you're able to heat and bend the shock mount okay, but if not, you can come by for us to do some weld repair!

            Be safe(r) out there !

Ben, I hadn't heard about you moving to Az.. Hope it works out for you and your health. I hope to make it out there one of these years for a rally in the REAL MOUNTAINS and such.

              George,
Been off myself for a few days. Glad you were able to get out without damage to you! As all have said, the bike is easy to repair compared to the rider!

Glad you are OK. Hope the repair goes well. I f worst comes to worst you can get a different titled frame and swap everything over.

I lived in Arizona for several years around Prescott. Some good rides in the area - there were some mines around there and a few good back roads to ride.

If, however, you plan an Arizona rally, consider the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is less traveled than the South Rim and has better scenery, IMHO. North Rim has a small campground; I've stayed there a couple times.

A trip north to the seldom-visited (due to location) Pipe Springs National Monument from the North Rim can be interesting. This makes a good half-day trip of about an hour up, an hour at the monument, lunch in the nearby town of Kanab (20 miles away) then back to camp.

                JAT!
