"Do you herd sheep?" my grandma asked,
My grand paw jumped in fright,
"Your grammars wrong", he quickly cried,
"Have you heard sheep is right"

Well I can assure you that spoken and written English is on the decline here too. Personally I blame a lot of it on people using 'text speak' on sms and chat sites.

        Another fine example!

I'm a Netflix user, the actual mail the DVD to your home rental type, not the online/download version....for several personal reasons that I can't say without risk of incriminating myself in less than legit purposes!

Anyways, received a movie that the SWMBO was wanting to see, and when I took a closer look at the title, I was thrown agast at yet again another obvious DUMB MISTAKE that has been made.

The Movie is Bridget Jones's Baby. Does anybody else see what's wrong with this title???

It's been a while since I had reviewed the rule, so I checked it out online, and verified that I was correct in my understanding of the rule.

        http://www.ef.edu/english-resources/...ng-possessive/

With a word that already ends in an "S", you just add an Apostrophe, NOT another "S" as well.

And what's worse, is that while searching for that DVD cover IMAGE, I then saw this one from a previous movie in the series, and they did it back then as well with her DIARY !

Well, examples abound. Today I was driving in to work and saw an RV trailer in front of me. Dealer sticker said Gibson RV'S and I believe it should have read Gibson RVs indicating plural instead of the possessive. Poor and incorrect usage is everywhere, and don't get me started on the Pepsi ad that has the (apparent) turntable spinning backwards!
