Cool
I have a 1980 XS1100 Special that was a project for about 6 yrs. It's finally on the road. I need to put some miles on the bike. I travel for work and it sits too much. I will keep an eye out on the next rally. I relocated from Florida to Rancho Cucamonga.Gene (Florida)

Took a little ride tonight and the tail light burnt out. I swapped out a my 1157 old school light bulb with the 1157 LED. Looks like a great option at this point. Looks a lot brighter.Gene (Florida)

One more thing, the 1157 automotive type bulbs have not as heavy duty filament as do that style of motorcycle bulb, so consequently, filament life is shorter. Most all the bike shops carry the motorcycle type 1157 bulbs.81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Funny thing is the original bulb I had was burnt on one of the filaments. No wonder I had a hell of a time seeing last night. lolGene (Florida)
