        dpotter,
Good Luck finding one! I've been looking for more than a year and can't find one either. One of my XS11's came with one of these.....I assume this is what you are looking for also?

These were extremely popular back in the 80's. They were more popular with the Motocross bikes but I've used them on both.

Although the improvement is "Minor" at best, I do believe this device has improved the stock front end performance. If nothing else, it's a heck of a lot easier to verify and modify pressure.

This is the only "Comparable" item I've found anywhere:
        http://www.crfstuff.com/spunifiairfo.html

I believe it is possible to fabricate one of these with commonly available parts from McMaster-Carr. That's my plan..... just haven't had the time to do it....

        Sincerely,

He hasn't been on here since DragonTamer was killed but Mindwebs used to build them.

          Bigfoot has one he built.

A few years back DragonTamer and Mindwebs hooked me up with a neat setup for doing exactly what you are wanting to do. It was two hoses with fittings that screwed onto the valve stem of the fork, from there into either end of a T fitting with another valve stem on it. They are heavy duty hoses, I think I recall them saying they got the hoses from a truck supply place. I will try and find a picture of it.

Mindwebs. I know what I was talking about and that's all that really matters.

I too have been trying to help Kurt find the fittings he posted pics of and have come up blank...I have alot of dirt bike friends and none of them have ever seen the type of crossover that Kurt is looking for...the best suggestion was to lok into Mcmaster Carr...but thats a needle in a haystack...

Do you have to use XJ forks to be able to use the balance line between them?

XJ forks are designed as such that they have the ability to balance themselves. Remember the grooves and O-rings in the tops of your tubes when we resealed them?

Nope. Separate valves on each tube. That's the reason for this setup, like Harry has.
