Hi Ben,
When i bought my windshield from http://www.motorcyclewindshielddealer.com/ it came with the hardware.
I just tried their website and got" website can't be reached" message.
Top two are metal so you should be able to get at the hardware store the balance are nylon.

Hey Dean,
IF you just submit QUOTED text, it doesn't COUNT and that's why you see that message, as well as if you just try to post a photo without saying anything.
As to the time limit for posts:
.....that is because we didn't want people posting things like INSULTS, THREATS, or such, and then going back hours later and editting them saying that they never posted any such thing!!!
SO...either create your post in Notepad, review them for typos, and then post/submit them to the site, and then use the PREVIEW feature to see if they look like how you want them to look, if not, you can then still edit it before finalizing the message.

Some photo documentation of the before condition of the side covers and the rear seat pan/cowl. Lots of paint damage due to use but also 6 layers of paint under the top coat...alot of work to get all that off...
This thread is just about done...will post pics of the bike finally assembled....
I wish to Thank Kurt publicly...He has been a real trooper...the number and frequency of the problems we have encountered just doing what was to be a simple effing makeover have made this anything but enjoyable...I have purposely omitted all the bad crap...but it is more than enough to leave me very disgusted with the bike and the PO...and thats all i will say publicly...
XS Folks,
The swamper will be headed back to N.C. tomorrow. We have more than a handful of unforeseen complications adding a lot of stress to a relatively small initial project.....
I would have liked to be have to spend a lot more time with this machine and wet-sand and buff all the parts but the window is too short. Ben can get a little buffing done in a few weeks when the paint is thoroughly dry.
I do believe the bike looks a lot better with the fairing. Hopefully, it will live up to Ben's expectations as an improvement in driving ease.
