    1st car/bike accident

Well after 40 years of riding street bikes my luck ran out yesterday and I was hit by a car on my XS1100SF. Luckily, I am still here, 2 seconds later and I'm not sure I would be posting this.
Thank you all for all the advice you've given me for repairs to my SF. It's been running and looking great.
Please everyone be careful out there because cars really do not see bikes. As my car driver stated along with wanting to sue me for damaging his BMW, as the state trooper told me in the hospital. Probably a good thing I didn't get to talk to the Beemer driver.
Anyway please be careful out there everyone.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident. As long as you are ok the bike can be repaired. Maybe the bmw driver will learn what it takes to repair a classic.

Hey Ron- Glad you're okay! Weird thing about my accident wss everr day after my accident, one ailment arose, while another went away. Took a week for everything to go away. Fortunately, I lowsided, and damage was minimal.
