  • Where have you ridden this season?

I was just sitting here thinking and decided to figure out where all I've ridden my XS this season. I've put well over 10.000 miles on so far.

I've been to Oklahoma (of course), Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. I may have touched some other states and not even noticed.

I only regret I haven't been to Arkansas this year..........yet.

Never a serious problem with the bike except it hated elevations over 8000 feet.

Where have y'all been this year?

Just Michigan this year, then down to XS-SE next month. No regrets, as the bike is still running, not stolen, bruised, etc., and I'm alive.

I went to XS East. That took me eight days and a few thousand miles.

I do a lot of local riding, which is pretty good, but always reruns.

I think your opinion of the flat bars and teeny tiny fairing may change after a few thousand miles.

Tell everyone "HEY" for me. The trip to Michigan used up my vacation days from work. If you want to save a few $, I'm sure Brent will have his big top tent there and you can camp with him. I always do. Just bring a sleeping bag.

Enjoy the great roads and scenery but pay attention to where your going. I explored the ditch there already. Nothing to see there.

I certainly will Greg! And, in the Fall, I'll throw my Windshield on, in-place of the fairing. Biggest decision now is what bike to use for the Fall riding. I'll be buying some Hippo Hands soon. I considered Heated grips, or expensive Olympia gloves, but I think Hippo Hands in-combination with my Winter gloves and heated vest should be okay.

I think Brant hit the wrong quote button.
