Likely newer than you would think. Without looking up the models, bettin' it's closer to a 2000 model than 90's or earlier.

If you can Find one, the older Winchester gunpowder cans are steel and can be used to hold solvents or fuel...

I have a couple that are full of a solvent mix that is way harder on cans than gas and they've been working well for the last several years...

I digress.....that front view definitely gave a different perspctive than what I was thinking looking at the tank and wheels.

I was thinking he could stuff a 5 gal Jerry can in that black wedge area and it would be out of the sun too.

Come on guys, the wedged bit of the trailer carries the esky, and what goes in there is way more important than extra fuel.
It isn't too thirsty with the trailer on the back. I did some figures a while ago on a couple of trips with it. The first one which included some spirited riding over the sportbike mecca in brisbane's hinterland (Mount Glorius) netted an average of 34mpg, and a more sedate run down the highway returned 38mpg.
                      Not that bad, eh?

What's the barrel part of the trailer made of,
                        and is that a spoiler?
