I'm at work at the moment, but I can pull one apart and overnight it if you need it. I have a spare rear rim in the garage, and not the storage unit. Send a pm if you need it.

Yeppers, knew the exact wide- spot location when they called and gave me their mile-marker location. Least they were off the top of the hill anyways!. Alot of you who have rode that rode: it was just below the big horseshoe curve coming off top of Red Mountain Pass headed south towards Silverton before the series of S-curve sweepers.......Brrrrrrrr.......they ened up rope-towing it the 4miles to Silverton after dealing with AAA's BS and waiting some 2 1/2 hours along the road!81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Well, Russ has overnighted me the part from Kansas City. $75 to have it here by noon. $100 to have it here by 10am. I chose 10am so we can get cleaned back up before heading out. Hotel is kicking us out at noon-thirty. BUT.. $100 means it'll probably be here at noon. lol.
Anyway, parts on the way.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

Rope-towing should not be left to the amateurs (me, lol). I had my little brother rope-tow me about five years ago. Not sure why I did not just load it into my truck. Anywho, came around a corner too quick after stopping at a stop sign, and he pulled me while sliding for a good 100 feet. Only thing damaged was a blinker lens, And the master cylinder cup popped-off. Just after I painted the bike. Not a scratch!1979 XS1100F

Motorman called me to see if I had parts, but the only thing I have is a 750 final and driveshaft, not going to do any good this time around.
For those of you not familiar with Red Mountain Pass, it is on a 2-lane, twisty road (US 550) that runs between Ouray and Silverton, Colorado. Also knows as the "Million Dollar Highway" it gets up to a max elevation of 11,018 feet. Once you get to Silverton you still have Coal Bank Pass to get over to get to Durango.
Great ride when the weather is good, not so great when the weather is bad. here is a Youtube video (8:58) taken form a BMW1200 going north from Silverton to Ouray in 2007:

Heading to the parking lot to fix the bike.. lol.
9:00 am.. still down in the lobby waiting on the part.
The plan is to head to Springdale, Utah, just outside Zion National Park. 379 miles and a late start... so who knows.Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.
