82 and 83 for the XJ750

The 82 had the adjustable handle bars with square headlight the 83 had a round headlight.

The XJ700 came out in 85 and 86 sat even lower but still had the inline 4 engine. I have not ridden one but I hear they are very comfortable to ride.

I'm pretty sure the XJ650 Maxim has a lower seat height than the XS650 twin.

Ed, I have an '85 XJ700 over here in Fresno. Light and easy to handle. I'll post pics later when I get home.
