That fridge is more important than the tool box. Without that how would I lure anyone in there to help?

All will be looking for a home. All are titled.

I'll be posting a list of them in the for sale section as soon as it warms up and I can get some pics.

If I can't sell them as projects I'll put them back together and your pockets will have to get deeper.

                  That's the Spirit Greg!
Put em all together and buy a few more in order to obtain parts, then get them going, then buy more and so on. That way you can sell your way to Glory!
On the other hand if you need to get some of the worst ones gone you could become the Andreas of the south.
And Yes without a beer fridge there is no reason to have a man cave let alone a toolbox or anything to work on.

Heh heh heh........you don't seem to understand. I have ENOUGH parts to put these together plus several more. I probably wouldn't need to buy anything but oil, filters, brake fluid, some gaskets, and more beer to do it.

                    I'm XS poor........

Me too, cept I had to disassemble 14 carbs to get one set of working carbs which makes my pile o parts shrink a lot. Who knew, that every single older style carb I had for number 4 was pooched in such a way that I will be lucky if a machinist can fix em. All those glorious parts turned into 1 set of useable carbs in a hurry.

#2 will work for #4 also. Just swap all the butterfly and shaft and linkage then just cap off the vacuum port for the vac advance.

You can do the same to turn a #1 into a #3 but you have to drill and tap the hole for the idle speed screw in a #1 to convert it to a #3. 3 to 1 is a straight swap other than the butterfly shaft and linkage.

There is no substitute for the #2 though.

I knew about swapping #2 to the #4 position, just did not have new rubber seals for the butterfly shaft. Was not sure about #1 and #3 though, thought it might work. I too should have a sale on a couple, so I have more room to work on the ones that need it.

I have 1 in the position either on the set on my bike now or my spare set. I can't remember. I did have to send away for the tap to thread the hole I drilled for the idle speed screw. It's an odd thread and you can't just go out and buy one.

These are early carbs. The size and thread for that is the same as the idle mixture screws. FYI
