    Nice score

Mark, could not have done better on that deal !!!!! Can't wait to hear your progress.
If your lookin for lifetime filters K&N, if you don't want to spend that much the UNI pods, if you want the best all around find a stock air box and put a K&N in it. But you knew that

Good buy on the G. Other than the aftermarket bars and exhaust, that looks to be a pretty unmolested bike with nearly all of the hard to find stuff present.

Good running at ALL rpm ranges AND performance are better accomplished with OEM airbox. It ALL works together for BEST performance, including OEM airbox. No power to be gained from pods, just more intake noise.

Yes, they can be replaced.... http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=137
... but new Dyna or Accel coils will give a real performance improvement. And how the wires look isn't an indicator of how well they'll work; these are solid-core wire, not carbon core. Most issues with them is the connection between the wires and the spark plug caps, or the caps themselves, and the caps can be replaced. If you have 15K ohms between the plug wires (with the caps off, give or take 2K ohms), the coils are good. The caps should read 5K ohms each.

All those bikes look good. Good score on the xs11 and welcome aboard. Good luck on getting it going. Looks like it has a solid exhaust on it.

                  What I got so far.....

                  Feedback please.......
Compression 120+ all four...Changed oil and mid and fd lube.....replaced the fuse box and main fuse, pulled all connectors, clean and grease, replaced plugs, removed and cleaned out carbs,(#1 was the worse one, as always) set the butterflies evenly...floats all even, inlet valves work fine, fixed the pick up coil wires(two front(top) ones)....fires up, charging 13.6, skipping jumping for a few minutes, warmed up, not hitting on all four, shut it off, check a couple things, start it up, now it is hitting on all four..but..still doesn't "feel"right....take a quick outlaw run down the road, pulls good but needs the revs to be smooth...
Got back idle too low, turn it up (who ever put that there ought to be shot)
Still has to clear itself off idle....I'm guessing I have to be more thorough syncing the carbs.....gonna pick up my carb tubes this week and sync it up better...
                  Am I missing anything?

All the lights and switches work....horns worked once then took a hike....gonna clean the switch gear next weekend...
No clutch problems or first gear jump....and the brakes work....yea......
I dig these big fours cylinder bikes....

Do the valve clearance then sync the carbs with the new tool.
The idle slowing down after a ride says fuel is not clean. A can of Berrymans or Chevron Techron in the full tank left to sit for a week or more. Then drain the fuel system, dispose of dirty fuel (don't put dirty fuel in any other). Clean carbs again add inline fuel filters close to the carb Ts so they act like sediment bowls, fill with fresh fuel try again.
