Being in the medical field you know more than most of us about human anatomy. Yet, you recognize the validity of proper skeletal alignment and the effect it has on all the other vital systems in the physical structure of your body. Regarding my 13 y/o, I'm sure that he's endured physical shocks strong enough to cause misalignments that lead to other issues. What with skateboard crashes, bike ramp jumps gone wrong, scooter crashes, etc...
I don't know what the doc did since I made the arrangements and my ex took him in. I wish I would have since I'm very much into physical pain relief and massage therapy... in the family only!!
There is no generic course of action action that provides relief for everybody. That's why you need to have the trust and confidence that your health practitioner will suggest impartial therapeutic alternatives, be they modern or traditional.
I certainly appreciate your concerns regarding adjustments due to your surgery. I was just throwing my experiences out there with the hope they might help someone.
