Don't fall in to the "Make it pretty before it runs" vortex. I've had a rescue bike that has had three paint jobs and has run .2 miles in the last decade.

Do the clean-up and fuel/spark work before you worry about the headlight mount. It is much easier telling SWMBO that you need this or that for a bike that runs...trust me on this.
