Another one saved from the bond yard

I saved another one from the bone yard today. It’s a 78 with 38,000 miles and has been sitting for over 10 years, because of transmission troubles. It is well weather, but all there except for the left side over.

It is going to be a long project for sure. I am going to see if I can get the gas cap open today and see what the inside of the tank looks like.

Nice save! This will be a great project.
A year effort and a couple thou $$$ and you will have a great runner. Ready to make its debut and ride at XS SE 2015.
                So the fun begins.

I keep hoping I can show up to an XS event on an XS. I am going to have to stop talking about it and get to work. I have most of the parts I need, just got to put them together.
